How do I set up a new lesson?

What you can do here

Create a lesson.

• "Lesson Objective/Name" (required)
• "Lesson Description" (required)
• "This is a live virtual lesson. (Deselect if only setting work to download/upload)"
• "Allow pupils to view the attached files before the meeting starts."
• "Class" (required: "Select a Class")
• "Lesson Start Date" / "Lesson End Date" (format dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm)
• "Lesson Resources": "Add File", "Show Resource" / "Hide Resource", "Set as Default" ("The resource you set as default will be the file that is shown when people join the lesson.") and "Delete"
• "Homework": "Homework file" and "Homework Deadline Date"

Demo lessons: "Each demo lesson has a time limit of 5 minutes… You can create a maximum of 4 demo lessons, the end time for the lesson will be set to 5 minutes after the start time."

How to do it

1. Enter the "Lesson Objective/Name" and "Lesson Description", and choose the "Class".
2. Set the start and end dates and times (dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm).
3. Untick "This is a live virtual lesson" if you're only setting work.
4. Add resources with "Add File" and pick a default. Add homework and a deadline if needed.
5. Click "Save".
